The Alan K. Vogel "Tinker" Memorial Cup.
Paul Hoists the very first Tinker Cup - 2008 CC
The Alan K.
Vogel “Tinker” Cup is named after
racer and officers’ uncle, Dan, Peter, and Paul Vogel. The perpetual trophy presented to the
downhill speed derby winner was established Christmas 2008. It has a Marble
base, and will eventually have a wooden base by Christmas 2009. It is a
perpetual trophy and like the VwV, maked with the cup name of the event. (ie:
Christmas Cup) There have been two winners of this cup, and behind the VwV, is
the second most coveted cup the
association bestows. The Tinker Cup can be challenged for according to the rules
set forth in the VRA constitution.
